[The Lord Of The Things]

i had a good chuckle

though i don't like the lord of the rings trilogy i like the spoofs.
though not that smashing in the animation department i liked the simple dialogue..
nothing fancy but pretty good all the same.

good series.

after watching all six episodes the electronic beeping voices start getting on my nerves but it has a certain charm, the inflections and stuff sound as real speech after a while and you can't help but like the characters (except dr kill-kill/prof death his voice is agony)
good series. period.
make more.

JUST rotoscoped?

i tried that once.. rotoscoping.. there's no Just to it.. to make something like this you must lack the abillity to get bored..
(i know that after 25 frames or so i just thought.. blow this i am off to the pub)
and the music is good to. and the way the figures are synced with the music. and the fluid panning and stuff.. i have no bad things to say..

Haha, you're right. Rotoscoping is incredibly tedious and time consuming and can still be done badly. But when Play came out it was getting bashed by people because it "wasn't really animated".

i will always find something to bitch about.

first off.. man that was great! for a first flash .. (well just take a look yerself, ya dont see that very often)
i liked the manga style animation but i have to say.. just like manga nowadays nothing is really animated just the head or just a mouth.. or just some smoke. but the style and the artwork were really good and if you work on animating a little more than just making a bit of an elaborate slide show i think you will go far.

leuk concept om alles met uitgeknipte fotootjes te doen. zag er best gelikt uit en het verhaal was ook heel grappig.
